Felistas is a software engineer who works on both sides of IT: building and deploying web applications, and looking after the people and systems that depend on them. They have shipped full-stack apps in Next.js, TypeScript and Python, and they have also run a company's network, moved its staff to Microsoft 365 and kept its machines working.
They like to take a project from the first conversation about requirements, through the data model and the code, to a live deployment with preview builds and automatic releases. Then they write it down, so the next person can run it without them.
Felistas holds a BSc Honours in Computer Science from the University of Zimbabwe, with an AI research focus. They are looking for a team that builds software people rely on, where they can keep growing as an engineer, and they are especially interested in applied AI.

- Owned an internal staff portal end to end in Next.js, TypeScript and MongoDB
- Set up Vercel previews and a FastAPI API on Render with automatic deploys
- Moved the company to Microsoft 365 and looked after its network and security
- Handled first and second line support and documented recurring fixes
